Mental Health Services in Tooele, UT
Whether you’re dealing with depression and anxiety or a substance use problem that has stopped feeling manageable, it helps to work with a clinician who understands the community you live in.
Why choose our mental health team
- Care under one roof: Your counselor and primary care provider work in the same building, making it easier to coordinate treatment when mental and physical health overlap.
- Experienced clinicians: Two of our counselors have a decade or more of experience in the field, and all have worked with patients in medication-assisted treatment.
- Support for complicated situations: Our team has experience with court-referred clients and with people managing mental health and substance use challenges at the same time.
Our mental health services
Depression, Anxiety, and Life Transitions
Persistent low mood, constant worry, and the stress of a major change can wear a person down long before they decide to ask for help. Our counselors use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) alongside mindfulness and values-based work. We focus on practical strategies you can use in daily life rather than leaving you with theory.
Substance Use Disorder Counseling
Recovery looks different for everyone, so counseling here meets you where you are. Sessions can include relapse-prevention planning, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness-based approaches, with an emphasis on building coping skills and accountability that endure over time.
Support During Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medication is often one part of recovery, and counseling is the other. Our counselors work with patients in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to build stability, strengthen routines, and address underlying challenges that medication alone cannot address.
Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Care
Depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use frequently feed one another. Our clinicians take a trauma-informed approach, including the Seeking Safety curriculum, so that both sides of the picture are addressed together rather than one at a time.
Court-referred Counseling
If a court, probation officer, or other legal requirement brought you to counseling, you'll find clinicians here who understand the process and the paperwork. The goal is the same as for any patient: to help you meet your obligations while making progress that lasts beyond them.

Frequently asked questions
I'm already in a MAT program elsewhere. Can I add counseling here?
Yes. Our counselors regularly work with patients in medication-assisted treatment, and counseling can run alongside the care you’re already receiving. Provide the name of your prescribing clinic so we can coordinate.
Will your clinician work with probation-required counseling?
Our team has experience with court-referred clients and understands that documentation matters. Bring your paperwork or your officer’s contact information to your first visit, and we’ll talk through your requirements.
How do I know if what I'm feeling is depression, anxiety, or a rough patch?
You don’t have to figure that out before you call. Many people start counseling because something feels off, and your first visit is a conversation about what you’ve been experiencing, how long it’s been going on, and what would help most.
What should I do if I'm in crisis right now?
Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you or someone else is in immediate danger.
