Biography

Ryan Farr is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges. He has been part of the team at Bonneville Family Practice since 2020, where he provides therapy and clinical supervision.

Ryan specializes in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, and life transitions. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating mindfulness, values-based work, and practical strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives.

While his primary focus is mental health, Ryan also brings extensive experience in substance use treatment, including work with individuals in medication-assisted treatment (MAT). He helps clients build stability, strengthen accountability, and create sustainable, long-term change.

Ryan is known for his direct, grounded, and supportive style. He creates an environment where clients feel understood while also being challenged to grow. His goal is to help individuals reconnect with their strengths, gain clarity in their direction, and build a life aligned with their values.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys being a father to his young daughter, traveling, playing in an ice hockey league, and spending time in the outdoors, including snow sports and other high-adventure activities.
